Mnemonics can be a helpful memory tool . . . they aid in associating easy to remember things with data.
At NURSING.com we don’t push mnemonics too much because, while helpful, our primary goal in teaching is helping you to fully UNDERSTAND higher level concepts.
Once you understand the concepts, mnemonics can be helpful in retaining that information. So while mnemonics are helpful, I do not suggest using these as LEARNING tools but rather as RETENTION tools.
