Admission requirements

Colleges consider several factors when selecting incoming students, and each college has its own preference for which attributes are most important. Some colleges will put more weight on your strengths than others. As such, it might pay off to choose a school with an emphasis on where you shine most if you’re having difficulty determining where those differences lie in the application process.

What St. Paul’s School of Nursing Looks for in an Applicant

It is moderately difficult to get admitted to St. Paul’s School of Nursing school. To decide on applicants who are eligible for admission, the institution carefully evaluates applicants based on multiple criteria. For instance, only 9% of applicants were accepted in 2021– about 65 students out of 737 applicants.

St. Paul’s School of Nursing is an exclusive, high-quality school that accepts fewer than 85% of all applicants – but their acceptance rate doesn’t come with any surprises. 75% or more students who are accepted have GPAs in the top 50%, scoring over 1010 on SATs, or at least 18 for the ACT. It is moderately difficult to get admitted through student transfer.

St. Paul’s School of Nursing Application Requirements

To apply, all applicants to St. Paul’s School of Nursing must submit the following items. Double-check with St. Paul’s School of Nursing’s admissions department to confirm all application materials and requirements.

  • Personal Statement or Written Essay
  • Transcript of High School Record
  • Unweighted GPAs must range from 4.0 to under 1.0.
  • Applicants must be at least high school graduates and over 17 years of age.

For those applying to the Associate Degree in Nursing program, they must have scored 16 or more on the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam.

Of importance to note, Paul’s School of Nursing isn’t test-optional, which means students don’t have an option to submit either SAT or ACT scores. During the admission process, the institution looks at standardized tests scores.

Enrollment

If you’re thinking about applying to St. Paul’s School of Nursing, April 1 s the deadline for Fall 2022 admissions at a fee of $45 per application fee. It is also worth noting that St. Paul’s School of Nursing has a policy of not offering early decisions or actions.

Some students apply to college early because they believe it will help their chances. Sure, early deadlines may increase the chance of admission, since applying before all other applicants show that you are very interested in a school.

In such a case, your application is being considered ahead of time when making decisions on who gets accepted into selective colleges. However, this is not the case at St. Paul’s School of Nursing, as an early application will not change the chance of getting an outright admission.
