No worries. They can keep practicing. The purpose of SIMCLEX® is to help feel what the NCLEX® is like and help prepare mentally for the strenuous test. We recommend focusing studies on areas missed, and practicing more questions in those content areas in Nursing Practice Questions before attempting another SIMCLEX®.

SIMCLEX® is designed like the NCLEX® so the number of questions on the test will vary from user to user, but a test candidate will get anywhere from 85 questions to the maximum 150 questions, depending on the test taker’s ability and scoring. 

Other simulators just give 85 max no matter what (that’s not what the NCLEX® does…🙄). Plus, we put an actual time limit, so the test taker can get a feel for the right tempo.
