Jon Haws: Hello. What’s going on guys? This is Jon Haws, RN CCRN, Founder and Lead Teacher here at NRSNG.com. Today, I’m incredibly excited to share with you guys and I know I say that every episode, but I really am really excited to share with you guys what we have today. What we have today is we have two of our NRSNG Academy members who wanted to let you guys know about their experience inside the NRSNG Academy. We have Joe and we have [Casey 00:00:26]. These are two people that have been using the Academy for sometime now and I just asked them to share their experiences. It’s completely unsolicited, unscripted. I just asked them to share their experience inside the NRSNG Academy. What I’m most proud of here guys is that we’ve been able to build this community. Everybody that’s part of the NRSNG Academy. We have a private group where we talk with each other and we share our experiences, our struggles, our successes and so I just invited these two on. This is Joe and Casey to share their review of NRSNG, their review of the NRSNG Academy and how it’s helped them throughout their experience in nursing school. Without saying much more, I want to introduce you to Casey and she’s going to tell you about her experience with NRSNG. Casey: Hey guys. My name is Casey and I’m a third semester RN student. My class is the very first cohort at our school, which basically means that we’re the guinea pigs. I’ve tried several online resources, but every single one of them left me feeling like I wasn’t learning anything. Then, I heard about NRSNG.com and everything has changed since then. The very first exam that I took after using NRSNG.com I ended up with a perfect score. A perfect score guys. I’ve even increased the scores on my ATI proctored exams. I tell everyone how much I love this program. I even tell them that when I’m done with school I’m uprooting my life in California and I’m moving to Texas so I can join the nursing team. This program is so solid guys. Seriously, I cannot thank you guys enough. For the first time since I started nursing school, I feel like there’s someone out there who genuinely cares about me, my grades, and my sanity. You all fill the gaps in my education and this is so personal to me because when I finish school and I pass NCLEX I’m not only fulfilling my dreams of becoming an RN and advancing my medical career, I’ll be giving my husband the ability to work less and be more of a dad to our almost three year old daughter. I cannot thank you guys enough. Thank you so much for helping me achieve my goals and for caring enough to take time away from your families to help me and mine. You guys rock. Jon Haws: I really love that experience. Casey actually left a message inside the Facebook group a couple days ago and said, “Where can I apply? I’m ready to uproot from California and move to Texas and work with NRSNG the minute I finish nursing school.” I told her, “Hey, look. I got to share that enthusiasm with everybody.” I really appreciate her coming on and sharing with you guys her experience with the NRSNG Academy. I also loved her motivation of being able to allow her husband to be home more. Nursing is such a great career and it really does allow us as nurses to be able to work and to support a family. I supported a family as a nurse. Two kids, a wife, who worked part-time and then me as a nurse. We were able to support our family on a nurse’s income. I just love that motivation, that energy, that drive to support the family, to help out with that, and how much NRSNG helped her in that semester. I really appreciate that. Now, I want to introduce you guys to Joe. Joe has been a very interactive member inside our NRSNG Academy private Facebook group. He’s always responding. He’s jumping in. He’s helping people and he does so much inside that group to mentor other students and to help people through the NRSNG Academy and help people through nursing school and the process of applying for nursing school. I was really excited that he was willing to share his experience and I want to introduce you guys to him. This is Joe and this is his experience with the NRSNG Academy. Joe Clatt: Hello. My name is Joe [Clatt 00:03:59] and I’m a NRSNG member for about the last nine months. To put it quite simply, the best money I’ve spent in nursing school. The options that are available to us as students are second to none, from the practice questions, to SIMCLEX, to courses themselves. The micro videos are straight to the point. They’re linchpin of what you need to know and they don’t get too convoluted with some of the stuff that your professors might go on. I quite frankly may not have even passed second semester had it not been for NRSNG. The community we have through Facebook is amazing. We support each other and it is quite worth it. It’s got a subscription model to it to break it down into small payments, make it affordable for everyone, but it’s also the added benefit that if you try it for a month and realize that it’s not for you, you can cancel. I doubt you will honestly if you try it. I can’t say enough good things about NRSNG. I recommend it to all my classmates, to all the people that I tutor in their prereqs I recommend it too. It’s just fantastic. Cannot recommend it enough. Jon Haws: I really love Joe’s experience. What I love most about his experience, guys, is him sharing that without NRSNG Academy it’s possible he may not have passed a semester in nursing school. I don’t love that because he almost failed or anything like that, but the reason I love that is because thanks to NRSNG Academy and thanks to what we’ve built here and what we’re offering to you guys, we’ve helped one more nurse get there. Rather than becoming discouraged, failing out, dropping out, withdrawing from nursing school, whatever it is, like so many of us do, Joe found the encouragement, the community, the group, that he needed to keep going. We were able to keep one good nurse, one person that gives a damn to get through. Not every nurse, not every nursing student, not every journey into nursing is the same. We can’t sit there and look at everybody else and start comparing ourselves because what happens when we start doing that, you guys, is that we start thinking, “We should be doing exactly what everybody else is doing.” That’s why I really love Joe’s story. He’s a non-traditional student. He had some struggles and the NRSNG Academy helped get him through that. I really appreciate that. He truly cares about being a nurse. He truly wanted to be a nurse, but because of the way things were structured, because of a specific course, he struggled in that one course. With the NRSNG Academy he was able to get through that. This person with passion, this person with drive, this person who cares, and you guys should see inside the Academy Facebook group, he helps so many other students and I really appreciate that. I’m really glad that Joe shared his story. You guys, these are just two stories of the thousands of members that we have inside the NRSNG Academy. Thousands and thousands of people are finding the motivation, the encouragement, or just the tools that they need to get through nursing school. Like Casey said, hers is a new program and so the school’s still trying to figure out how they’re going to teach and NRSNG Academy is that crutch to help her through that. Every nursing student is different. Every nursing journey is different, but this content, what you need to know, is possible. Some people find NRSNG because they need the tools. They need the flashcards, they need the courses, they need video lessons, they need NCLEX practice questions. All of the other tools that we have available on our website and in our NRSNG Academy and some people find us because they need that confidence, they need that group. They need that encouragement that we offer. I’m so excited to be able to offer both of those. The tools and the confidence that people need to succeed. I want to invite you guys, if you haven’t yet, to try out the NRSNG Academy. You can go to NRSNG.com/academy and you can try it for three days for just one dollar. That’s NRSNG.com/academy. If you don’t have that dollar to spare, that’s fine. Please keep taking advantage of all the materials. I sincerely thank them for coming on the show and I want all of you to know that we truly do love you. We truly do care about you. We truly do care about your success.
