After earning a B.S. in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Jon spent years inside a Level I trauma center at Methodist Dallas Medical Center—serving as ICU nurse, code-team responder, preceptor, and charge nurse.
There he saw two crises colliding:
1. Students drowning in outdated nursing education.
2. A growing nurse shortage on the hospital floor.
In 2015 he decided to tackle both by launching NRSNG, re-branded in 2019 as NURSING.com.

Builds visual courses, apps, podcasts, and cheat-sheet libraries that turn “information overload” into “aha-moments.”
Advocates for better nurse retention, speaking on stages and podcasts about innovation in healthcare education.
